Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) is the second most senior Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee — or SASC.
Like SASC Chair Jack Reed, when Ask a Pol caught up with her this summer — a week before UFO whistleblower David Grusch testified in the US House — Shaheen told us she wasn’t investigating UAPs (or UFOs).
Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s interview with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, slightly edited for clarity.
TRANSCRIPT
Matt Laslo: “How are you?”
Jeanne Shaheen: “Good. How are you?”
ML: “One day at a time. So I have a random question for you. Has the UAP or UFO whistleblower, David Grusch, come across your radar at all?”
JS: “No. They’ve had some briefings on the work of…”
ML: “Like, the Chinese spy balloon?”
JS: “No. Well, that was a general briefing.”
ML: “Yeah.”
JS: “But yeah. I don't know.”
ML: “It's interesting Gillibrand’s kind of investigating his claims, and then the Intel. Committee’s is too and there's a lot of classified stuff that I'm not allowed to know about, so… Preciate ya!”
