HPSCI member Dan Crenshaw: "There’s public interest in" declassifying Russian space intel

Ep. 183 — Rep. Dan Crenshaw (2-15-2024)

Who?

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) – House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence

Ask a Pol asks:

“Curious about your thoughts on this classified… what Turner said should be declassified.”

Clutch Crenshaw:

“Yeah, I agree this should be declassified, and I can’t talk about it til it is,” Crenshaw exclusively told Ask a Pol. “There’s public interest in having that.”

TRANSCRIPT: Laslo & Crenshaw

SCENE: Laslo bumps into Crenshaw and a staffer inside the Capitol, as the congressman’s hurriedly rushing to a waiting car outside.

Matt Laslo: “Hey, how are you?”

Dan Crenshaw: “Good. Good.”

ML: “Curious your thoughts on this classified — what Turner’s saying should be declassified.”

DC: “I mean, I agree with him.”

ML: “Declassify it?”

DC: “Yeah. I agree it should be declassified, and I can’t talk about it til it is.”

ML: “I know.”

DC: “There’s public interest in having that knowledge.”

ML: “Have we put enough into US Space Force?”

DC: “Yeah, separate question.”

ML: “Separate question?”

DC: “That’s why we created the Space Force. I gotta run.”

ML: “Yeah. Preciate ya.”
