Last year, Rep. André Carson (D-IN) chaired Congress’ first UFO hearing in more than a half century. This year, he’s in the minority in the US House. But if his party were still running things, he’d want to hear directly from whistleblower David Grusch.
“That’s deep stuff. I’d love to have him come before the committee, but we’re in the minority,” Carson exclusively told Ask a Pol. “But I’d love to have him come.”
Carson says he was hoping last year’s hearing would pave the way for whistleblowers.
But, as a senior member of the House Intelligence Committee, Carson says he does have concerns with the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation.
“I hope they don’t trivialize the matter,” Carson said of next week’s scheduled hearing co-chaired by Reps. Burchett and Luna.
