“Yes,” they reply.

“We can confirm that we received a briefing with Rep. Luna. We have no comment on the contents of that briefing at this time,” a spokesman for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sends Ask a Pol.

SCENE: Members of the US House of Representatives just cast their last vote of the week on a measure averting a federal government shutdown. Luna — along with 98 of her colleagues — opposed the bill, which passed and was sent to the Senate.
A couple members of the press corps mobbed Luna, as Ask a Pol impatiently waited. After the other reporters finished, Laslo moves in to relay to Luna what our source said.
